What Are Legacy Points?

Legacy Points are an account-wide progression system introduced in WoW Forever. You earn them by completing challenges across different parts of the game, including leveling classes, developing crafting professions, exploring the world, and tackling group content.

Once earned, your points are shared across your account. Each character can spend them independently in three perk trees: Professions, Adventure, and Resourcefulness. These perks can help with leveling, gathering, crafting, and everyday gameplay.

At launch, you can allocate up to 16 points per character, even though there are more points available to earn. Your total earned points also count toward account-wide cosmetic rewards. Use the Point Tracker to follow your challenges and the Perk Planner to explore your options.

Legacy Perk Planner

Explore a character's point allocation across three trees. Green borders highlight available perks as each tree reaches its next point threshold. Locked perks show their requirements, and descriptions update to the selected rank. Perk icons change from dark to full color as their requirements are met.

November 2 Update · The Quick and the Dead

Paladins: Righteous Fury now correctly costs no resources while The Quick and the Dead’s post-resurrection free-ability effect is active. This fix does not change the perk’s ranks or point requirements.
